看了大家的解释，我觉得题干应该这样理解

polygraph test 一共有三个结果：truthful（诚实）、untruthful（不诚实）、inconclusive（不确定）

[有了这层理解，后面都好办了]

只有当结果显示inconclusive的时候，这个结果不能反映examinee的真实情况，就是说这个test不能说明examinee到底诚实不诚实。（no reflection on the examinee）

而employers有时却因为这样一种inconclusive的结果而拒绝applicant

显然这是有失公平的。

如果按照这种思路，其他错误选项都能排除。

问一下，题干中的rather是什么意思？

提干的意思是，测谎仪有2种：

1、conclusive (可以测出truthful or untruthful)

2、inconclusive (不能测出truthful or untruthful)

提干只讲了第二种测谎仪，所以正确选项一定要有inconclusive出现才可以。这也就是为什么OG对B, D的解释是 the information given includes nothing either implicit or explicit about polygraph tests that yield conclusive results.

看了那么多解释,不对不说这个解释是最能说明问题的!!

E错在，因为雇主考虑test 结果，但是不考虑 “inconclusive” polygraph test result。

对于这类型的题目，个人认为conclusion应该是基于前文所有信息的。而D选项与nevertheless后面的信息完全无关，所以不应该选。  个人意见，望各位NN指点。

美国人TNND想法不一样吗，以下是我选E的思维逻辑：

因为：polygraph test 一共有三个结果：truthful（诚实）、untruthful（不诚实）、inconclusive（不确定）

所以：Inconclusive是polygraph test 三种结果中的一种，而且不能确定求职者是否诚实

那么：有些雇主拒绝polygraph test 结果为inconclusive的求职者

可以推出：有些雇主在评估求职者时拒绝考虑了polygraph test的结果（inconclusive）

那么说明这些雇主在评估求职者时肯定是考虑了polygragh test的结果的呀~
又如何推出完全相反的结论：“有些雇主在评估求职者时拒绝考虑了polygraph test的结果” 呢？
