Please read the following message CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY. It will save you from asking further questions (and me from retyping the same thing over and over again, for which I will be infinitely grateful). A couple of important and long awaited announcements:
R2 admit calls will start today or tomorrow. A couple of things are important to note:
Not every admit will get a call! I cannot emphasize this enough... Don't freak out just because you haven't received a call yet. It takes several days to call everyone and, again, not everyone will get a call.
There is no rhyme or reason to how calls are made. They are not made alphabetically, nor are they made to residents of the same area at the same time. If you hear that someone from California or India got a call today, it doesn't mean that someone else in the same area will get the call the same day (or at all, even if they are admitted).
Application volume is officially up for all three rounds. I do not know by how much, but the increase is not entirely negligible. If I ever get more details I can share with you, I will, but for now, this is all I know.
I'll conclude with a bit of advice: try not to freak out one way or another. If you get in, make sure you celebrate. If you don't, there are many other good things in your life that are worth celebrating, so you should celebrate as well. During the celbrations, make sure you're properly hydrated with the beverage of your choice (water, vodka, gatorade, beer, juice, wine, etc.). And... do not forget to wear sunscreen.
Cheers and Go Blue!
PS Again, please make sure to read the message carefully. It covers pretty much all I know on the two topics discussed and should preempt most of the followup questions. __________________________
