Folks,

Just wanted to convey this bit of information: according to one of the Admissions Directors, it is extremely unlikely (read: ain't gonna happen) that everyone will actually get a call this time around. As much as we'd like to do that, these things take a long time and we may run out of it...

So, just know that it ain't over 'till the fat lady sings (or releases those online decisions).

it ain't over till the fat lady sings 也经常在体育解说里面听见。一般都是说在结束之前什么都可以发生的。the fat lady sing一般是在歌剧结束的时候，有个很胖的女高音表演最后的一段。所以fat lady没有出来就还没有结束。。。

I actually asked this question during my interview with one of Ross alumni. Since blue and maize are the main colors of the University of Michigan, it is quite understandable to say "Go Blue". Besides, as my interviewer interpreted it, blue has a sense of "noble". Not sure if someone would disagree, but personally I like the combination of blue and maize. Maybe it's better to ask someone with a degree in art. Hehe!

Besides, the mascot of the University of Michigan is wolverine, though I haven't figured out what it is and have never seen an image of wolverine on any of the univeristy souvenirs. Sports teams of the university are referred to as wolverines. Don't know why, but that's the way it is.

Just got the acceptance email from Michele Thompson at Ross.  I'm in!   I'm in Shanghai, China, so I wouldn't try and overanalyze which areas they are sending invites out to.  It's totally random. Good luck to everyone!
