Belowing words are from IELTS test requirement:

You must not

• Attempt to cheat, copy the work of another candidate or disrupt the test.
  
• Use, or attempt to use, a dictionary, pager, spell-checker, electronic recorder or mobile phone for the duration of the test.  Any candidate doing so will be disqualified.

1. Even it is true in US,why it also should be valid the world around?

2. ETS faces the whole world student they should use the international principle not which is valid in US or maybe just in your school

If you think it is ridiculous, this is your personal opinion. You have the right of free express, but please don't disgrace my school.

I am not familar with federal law. I have various students in different high schools, and they all need to sign the rule before writing the test. You can ask around some guys in US B-schools to give you more idea.

Because the binding relationship is between you or any student around the world and ETS/GMAC. As said, you sign it and you are bound by it!

no no I'm not disgrace your school,I just think stick to that meaningless and absolutly hard-defination rules is really wasting time and without any effect.

When the rules can not work its job.

There should be something change.

Not the students,but the rule itself.

Who can do it?maybe government.maybe ETS.

Please stop blaming the student who attend the test at the end of month are cheator before they make up something really practicably and effective rule which will be sure can do its job.

TO gonghao兄弟,我赞赏你不停辩护的行为，但就这件事情而言，确实应该愿赌伏输,玩人家的游戏就要听从人家的规则.单纯指责ETS如何如何,实在站不住脚.呵呵.

To反对gonghao的XDJM,争论而已,上升到人身攻击就很过分了.为什么大家对自己同胞总是这么严格要求?对ABC都很宽容的，确可以随便的把利用ETS漏洞的同胞称为"婊子".真是严于律己啊.

最后关于真题和JJ再说几句，以前没有真题，国内也是高分不断.;JJ最有用的就是数学，而这一部分恰恰是国人最不需要复习的部分.有和没有，区别不大.就算有真题和JJ的帮助，一个水平在650的就能考到750吗?做梦吧?最多靠到680,了不起了。700+以上的XDJM哪个不是付出艰苦努力的？哪个是随便看了真题和JJ就700+的？何况无数人在考试时面对的是完全陌生的题目.

大张旗鼓的说国人CHEAT，以此贬低国人分数的纯度，如果是鬼子尚可理解，如果是自己人，就显得不明智了。这个世界上只要有考试，得分最高的肯定是大部分是中国人，聪明就是聪明啊。

鬼子不过是歪打正着，很早就拥有了很好的制度，有朝一日大家在同样的体系下发展，还有他们的份吗？

As said, no matter how meaningless you believe, you sign it and you need to obey it. At least you should admit you have broken your pledge.

我觉得我们确实是cheating,根据ETS的规定.至于我们是否应该cheating和ETS这样的规定是否合理,与这个话题是两码事.这使我想到了另一个事，就是申请过程中，大家都鄙视做假成绩，假推荐信．．．的人，　但我个人认为大家是五十步笑百步．（我不是说作假是应该的，只是希望我们骂别人的时候也想想自己）

这个话题越来越激烈了，呵呵。

有时候这个度的把握，讨论也讨论不出来滴。欧也看了JJ了，但是数学JJ的确没有什么用（当然，欧看了这是事实，欧也写了）。不过回头想想，当时还真没有想过ETS的什么规定，那种气氛就是take and give，大家都写出来，我也不好意思就拿，不给。这样看来拿了不给，就遵守了ETS，拿了后给回去，就违背了ETS，但是好像从咱们中国人知恩图报的标准来看，好像又没有错。

至于申请过程中成绩作假，推荐信作假，工作经历作假，我觉得是不一样的。

顶下，几经真的有用吗？i doubt it。即使有人依靠几经取得高分，这个比例不会很高吧。任何事情都是有运气成分在的，对于更多的人来说，如果水平很差，再靠几经也不会有什么重大不同把
