以下是引用nono在2006-2-9 13:46:00的发言:It really depends on who is your target audience. In China, I
would think that more people know U.Chicago, not necessarily Chicago
GSB though. By the same token, people in the street would probably
think "University of Los Angles" is better than "University of
Michigan".
Now, comes to finding a job in China. Although there are no fundamental
difference between the two schools, I would argue that Kellogg probably
would help you a little bit more, just because of the stronger alumni
base in Consulting industry in China. Kellogg's strength in general
management would also help you land a corporate job if that's what you
want. In reality, at age of 36, your chance of getting into IB is lower
than the average (it's definitely doable though). In case you want to
get into consulting or general management, I think Kellogg is pretty
strong at both, in terms of curriculum and alumni base.
At the end of the day(bankers really like this sentence

), the
culture difference between the two schools probably weighs more than the brand name difference. You can't go wrong with either school. Just
pick the one that you feel more comfortable with. All major banks and
consulting firms recruit at both schools, it all boils down to your
interview performance and your background before B-school.
Congratultions on your achievements! (not on getting admitted, but on your achievements that got you into the B-school)
