求助：GMAT620申请中欧和港科大够用吗？

今天刚刚考了GMAT, 出乎意料竟然只有620分，非常后悔高估了自己的水平，没有下太多工夫复习。但是现在后悔是没有用了，想请教各位一下，这个分数申请中欧和港科大够不够用呢？ 我到06年工作4年了，工作经历上讲还可以，本科的学校和成绩也还可以。希望大家给我一些建议吧，thanks in advance.

感觉可以啊，其实亚洲的学校对G成绩要求不是特别高，不如你好好准备essay.

如果你的学习和工作背景不是特别好的。建议你还是再考一次吧。

It is really bad news at this New Year season . However, you might be right given that 80% of 2005 intake MBA students' GMAT scores are between 620 - 740, according to data released on CEIBS official website. In addition, most intake students with scores below 650 are overseas applicants and  I guess the criteria to evaluate them might slightly differ from those to evaluate native Chinese applicants. Overseas applicants contribute much to CEIBS' reputation in terms of internationalization and other aspects, with which CEIBS will be able to attract more applicants and to speed up its progress of emulating B-Schools with best practice.

Regarding my academic background and previous career, the university that I graduated from is among the top ones and my academic record is excellent (GPA 4.6 of 5) and my previous career background is rather good in my view. Gernerally, my background is not outstanding but above average. Based on such more detailed information, I will be more than appreciated if you and other friends could provide me with more insights. Anyway, it is not the end of world, huh? Happy Chinese New Year!

My suggestion is that because you still have a lot of time before applying, you'd better to retake it to hold your own future in your own hand instead of hoping that the competition will be not hot and the admission officers will very like you.
Please note:
1. Even you got the admission, you may lose the considerable scholarship. One more month's study will be a very good investment considering the amount of the return money.
2. Don't take for granted that HKUST and CEIBS are very easy to enter and the competitors haven't strong background.

听说的三轮录取的人极少，是否是真的呢？

620 is enough for UST and CEIBS, provided your w/e, essay, presentation skills are fairly good.

vipcute, G/T是申请路上唯一能够通过自己的努力做好的事情（你永远无法判断你的essay/work experience是否足够好）。所以如果没有太大的困难而且你对自己的语言能力足够自信，建议你重考。
