收到信说:"The admissions committee has identified you as a finalist for admission." 要求电话面试.

有个地方看不懂,请问一下大家:

"If you are still uncommitted and interested in our program,
please send me some times when you and I could chat for 10 minutes or so.
Also, please send me the best telephone numbers to use when contacting
you. I would like to complete this conversation and proceed with the
formal admission process before the first of next week."

这里before the first of next week是指下星期一以前吗? 口语太烂,真是很害怕....

顺便问一下, 有可能把面试安排在周六或者星期天?

I don't think Saturday and Sunday is good for interview.

but you can try.

by the first of next week. I think probably by Monday of next week.

anyway, it is not so clear.
