今日复习大全，碰到两道OG熟面孔，却让我肝肠寸断...大家一起来讨论讨论。

疑问：A中have been priced为什么错？讨论中有说have been ...and are时态不合理。但是，我认为题干中有have cut price，也就是说已经削价了（说明价格在过去已经就表出来了），因此用have been price to sell也很合理（已经被标价出售了）。好像A表达的意思是，他们已经被标价出售，而且正在被标价出售。不过A另外有一个问题是are (selling) 还是are (pricing)，这个产生歧义。

疑问：E选项中remained为什么不能和been able to来并列？我以前看到的解释是说(1)逻辑上不通，不过没感觉逻辑上到底为什么不通，已经能够remian和已经remain都是通顺的；否定（2）be动词不可以和实意动词并列，不过好像有很多题目都是 sth is ...and did，题目我记不住了。如果真要表达have remained的意思，难道非要用have been able to ... and have remained?  为什么这里的remain前面不加to？

疑惑积蓄很久了，不吐不快阿。

蛋糕mm，不要灰心，听说一开始GWD是会错很多，一开始verbal部分错15个以上都很正常。（不过我还没有开始呢，正在考虑哪天早上来个GMATPREP模考玩玩，再做gwd，哈哈，说不定我会摆在大年初一开始GWD哦）

关于作文复习，我这两天也刚刚开始，感觉还不是很透彻。而且我写作功底很差，以前就没正式写过几句话。考托福的时候，临时背了N篇范文，才弄出个4.0。唉～～，吸取教训，这次好好准备作文，把弱项彻底的补起来。

我现在的安排是每天早上10点开始到11点半，全部用来复习作文。AI多看范文，AA多看七宗罪，多写多练。建议MM看看AWA版的置顶。

另外，上次看了tony的一个作文心得，800分的满分也要等说出作文成绩后才能让教授满意，真说明作文的重要性了。而且，听说作文分数高了，以后可以免个写作课，那也是为了将来轻松一点，现在怎么辛苦都值得。

I agree with you. A的问题是在于are (selling) 还是are (pricing)，产生歧义。就时态而言，a和c都没有问题。

对于E：(1)have been able 和 remained 不平行，因为这句话中没有提示词暗示用过去式。

（2）be动词并不是一定不可以和实意动词并列，就如你可能看见过有题目是 sth is ...and did，但gmat是这样一种考试，我们the better choice provived，but not absolutely the best choice。所以D选项的 ...to put and （to可省略）remain 的平行结构是比E更优的选择。

我是指为什么不能是have been able 和 have remained的用法，是过去完成时的平行。

若是过完的平行，have been able to ... and have remained, 我觉得其中have不能省略。因为这里前面有两个动词have been，put， 在这种情况下，我认为省略助动词会对后面的动词的平列成分产生歧义！这和 have been and been, have done and done, will do and do， etc的情况是不尽相同的。

我这样认为：不光是时态的平行问题，这里逻辑意思也很重要。put capital 和economically viable都是small mills be able to do 的事情。be able to 表达比较客观的事实，并列的时候，and后要省略to直接根动词原型，习惯用法。因为时态和客观的态度前半句已经表明，所以and之后不需要重复，否则wordy。

感觉要尽量保持原句的时态和态度，既然have been able to完全可以接remain economically viable，时态也一样，就没有必要在加have remained了。

我的教训是平行规则不可上来就套，而且有时也会被打破，句子的逻辑意思至上。

语感上是这样的，有点说不清楚，大家接着讨论。。。

我重新看了一下OG88，认为E选项在逻辑和语法上没有什么问题，而真正出错的原因是改变了句子原意，即A选项中说enable mills to put and remain，这里很明确的说明了put和remain是平行的，而这点在OG的解释中也可以看出来，OG排除BCE的原因都是remain is not parallel with put。也许这个才是这题的真正解题点所在（挺隐蔽的吧－我功力太弱，这么久才发现）

这两天做大全，发现自己老在一种题型上犯怵，“建立在逻辑关系上的平行题”，这种题目要求从逻辑的高度来确定到底是和谁平行，如OG上有很多，那个sloth的题，释放黑奴的题，贞德建议国王的题等等，看来我要来个彻底的专题总结才行。
