Duke 面试的性质

我是在submit package后第10天收到Tuck的面试通知；在第7天收到Duke的面试通知的。关于Duke interview assigned by invitation only or by recommendation, 我发信问了邀请我面试的adcom, what she said:

Duke's interview procedure is open.  We strive to grant interviews to everyone
who requests them.  Unfortunately in some areas, we have more requests than the
alumni interviewers can accommodate, and we are not able to assign interviews
to everyone.

All Round 1 applicants will be notified of their decision on December 16 via
email.
