建议你跟adcom解释清楚是因为ETS的原因所以他们没有收到official report，通知adcom他们大致能得到official report的时间，问他们是否可以先把你放入第一轮的pool里考虑。一般我认为adcom应该会理解的，但是你最好跟adcom沟通一下。

建议想Switch career的同志要考虑清楚，international想switch还是挺困难的，毕竟sponser H1的公司就那些，还不是只open给international，这么多人都在一起抢，你就知道困难程度了。当然也不是没有人成功，去香港banking的同学算是最成功的一个，另外进入consulting的如果算的话，有两个，有一个香港同学进了NY的一个小banking，也算一个，还有一个台湾同学从engineering转做corporate finance。另外有两个通过Ross特有的Marcel Gani program转入了finance。Full time最后能有多少人switch成功还要等到毕业的时候才会知道了。

多谢飞雪版主, 预料到转行是条布满荆棘的路, 语言,身份,本地经验一直是困扰中国学生的三座大山, 真心希望随着CD的壮大, 能够在异国他乡,各行各业建立起自己的network.

here's my 2 cents about career switch, adding to Feixue JJ's view.

first of all, mba makes career switch possible. think about what you need for a career switch: technical skills (which allows you to do the job), soft skills (which is across functions) and a professional network (which helps you learn the target industry/function and gives you access to job opportunities). a top school can provide you with all resources for these.

of course, it is not easy, because of competition from ex-players and, if you will also switch country, some cultural barrier. . but it isn't that difficult, and there are many success stories. if you have a true passion and demonstrate it with your efforts, you can surely do it.

TOEFL

If your native language is not English, you must demonstrate competence in English by a score of 600 or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Unless not given at your test site, you must also take the writing test now included in the examination. TOEFL should be taken no later, and preferably earlier, than January of the year in which you wish to be admitted. TOEFL scores are valid for two years. You should arrange to have your scores on the test reported to us directly by the Educational Testing Service. The University of Michigan code number is 9585 for the full-time MBA program. Please note that students from other countries who have earned a degree from a United States school are exempt from the TOEFL requirement. (Those who have worked in the United States full-time for two years or more in the last 5 years, or who hold a degree from an institution in which English is the language of the instruction may also waive the TOEFL requirement.) 至于GMAT，我查了我的OFFICIAL 成绩单，上面ROSS的代码是1839。

最新的TOEFL Bulletin上9585确实是U of michigan sch Business

但1839是U of michigan, 如果department code填02，应该也能到商学院吧？
