听说今年Michigan International Student的placement很不好,大伙正准备online petition呢。不知有没有这回事?

1. It is still good: This peition is initiated by a 1st year Singapore student. When he saw many interivew slots not filled up by US students but not open to international students (which is same every year), he felt a little bit frustrated, so he sent a mail to Chinese/Indian/Korean/others community seeking help.

2. For class 2006: We have now about 30 second year MBA looking for fulltime jobs. As of now, 80% have landed at least a job. This is a number outstripping overall Ross MBA population. The placement situation have kept improving over the past several years, so we are confident and optismistic about the number at the time of graduation. In the last summer, 2 out of those 30 MBAs did their summer intern in Hong Kong, and everyone else interned in US.

3. For Class 2007: They are still undergoing on-campus interviews. The number has not come out yet, but I am sure they will be even better than class 2006.

4. This is not unique to Ross: I believe this is across every school. There are always some companies who don't hire internationals.

Ross students have just finished the spring break. The past Winter A was extremely busy for each of us, but the progress has been solid as good news is coming one after another. In addition, the new boards of the Great China Association and the China Blue Charity Funds have been elected. The strong teams are expected to assume all the key roles and begin to function in a more energetic way.

In addition to questions about MBA applications, we are more than happy to share with you our experience in internship hunting. We will also try to keep you updated with the progress of the exciting MAP projects.

As you can see, we are back!

I am an applicant interested in finance. Could you give us some detailed account of the result of summer internships by Chinese students, espcially in investment banking? How many of those got IB are career changers?

Water兄,在ROSS,F2能旁听MBA课程吗?在这方面有什么限制吗?

如果先F2,然后在ROSS旁听,接着申请今年的第一轮,是不是机会比在国内稍微大一点点呢?
