第1段：在女性主义艺术的运动中，对女性主义艺术有很多不同的定义和描述。其中有一个理论描述为女性审美，支持者认为这个定义映射了女性独有的社会经历，且内涵解放的寓意。反对者认为这个理论将女性和一些形状、颜色、图案等限制起来了，并不是一个好的解答。
第2段：女性感知的理论似乎建立在2个极端的假设之上。首先，个人的经历几乎完全由性别决定；然后，女性和男性的对立是永久的，所以女性要不断变强才能对抗。
第3段：另一个理论，更理性且平衡，提议一个关于社会经历和艺术更超前的观点。女性应该更自由、开放地去探索艺术，不应该被任何禁锢。
