Split2: meaning - opinions in xx areas
SPlit3: parallel - such areas as attitude and merits ->B like attitude, along with/also about merits ->Eliminate A, C

2. C
Split1: distinctiion between...and ->Eliminate ABDE
Split2: parallel - so much in ... as in... ->C

3.D
Following "introduced..", Subject is Life Insurance -->DE
Split: between..and.. ->D
Typically vs who typically were -> latter is awkwardly wordy
