A memo from Finance Director to the city council:
Taxpayers would be of financial interest to fund the contruction of a luxury hotel next to the convention center. Visitors make purchases and buy services at the convention center. Travellers from out-of-town will therefore contribute to the local taxes and benefit taxpayers. The current visitors only comprise 50% of the convention's capacity. Luxury hotel will provide additional visitors with accomodation since travellers will choose luxury hotel over budget motels. Revenue of the luxury hotel will largely contribute to the local taxes.
My essay includes:
1. Gratuitious assumption: the arguer fails to justify that out-of-town travellers will majorly account for visitors at the convention center. Lack of information about the visitors.
2. Gratuitious assumption:the arguer presumptuously assumes that travellers will prefer luxury hotel over budget motels. Without information about consumer behaviors, it is groundless to conclude that travellers will choose luxury hotels.
3. Unsound analysis: the author fails to weigh the advantages and disadvantages thoroughly. Without considering the balance between revenue and cost, it is unwarranted that running a luxury hotel would necessarily contribute to the taxes instead of emptying taxpayers' pocket.

1. 员工对反馈意见的看法
第一段:讲述F专家的最初观点,high-esteem的员工比low-esteem的员工更容易根据反馈意见改进自己的performance.
第二段:但是后来,F在更新的研究中引用了其他学者的研究,发现high-esteem的员工对自己的表现与能力的评价更加stable,不会轻易被他人的意见而左右。(出题:引用这位学者说明了low-esteem的员工有什么特点?回答:low-esteem的员工对自己的表现与能力的评价容易发生变化。)
第三段:解释了为什么会出现这种不一致。high-esteem的员工不是不愿意改进,而是更加注重给出反馈意见的author是否具有权威性与专业性。对于专业人士给出的意见,他们还是会积极去改进自己的。
另外,对大家提个醒。现在考试不提供最后1分钟或5分钟的提示了,完全靠自己的时间意识。大家注意考场的时间,发现自己题目数量过半,就要开始对时间警惕了。希望大家早日出分呀~~加油~~
