I wouldn't think the school is very strick on this restriction. The adcom is a group of very bored people sitting around the table whole day to read essays.  They would really appreciate it if you can pull interesting stuff from you experience to make their days.  On the other hand, if you submit some dull materials that make no difference from hundreds of others',for the sake of sticking to the time period restriction, you won't go far in this application game. Unless you have equally amazing stories from the past 2 years to fill in the essays, it doesn't worth it to sacrifice quality for some unjustified rule.  Notice their website itself is inconsistent about it.

Sloan used to be my dream school, now it's still one of my favorite. I have one essay talking about university experience but I don't wanna re-write it, if they are to "ding" me because of that, that's fine, a stubborn school is the last thing I need in the world.

Well first of all they did not put the two year requirement on public website but hide it in online app. system, it's kind of misleading as many people did not logon to the online app. system till they finish all their essays.

Secondly, averagely, people tend to swith job every 2-3 years, which is to say, the experiences happened in last two years will come from the same company, same position, how boring it is! People is built up by the whole life not one or two years anyway, if you want them to know you better, just be courage to pick the most influential events in your life.

Don't you know the online application was not available until September but the essay questions are posted in early August? What do you expect people to do in that whole month? Wait to see what's different in the online application then start writing essays?

I found that statement whenever I logon there the first time and decided to keep one of the old events, it seems that you had used that system to write you essays but not aware of such statement?

如果你们仔细观察, 会发现Rod经常给出一些申请上的误导.
