第一题要么有误，要么条件不足吧。

第一个条件算出的学法语学生是400个，而学日语学生至少100个，无法判断哪个更多，此条件不足。

第二题： 学法语的400是从题目的出来，那1）中的条件没用上啊，由 1） 可以推出4%F=16 , F=64，和at least 100 Japan student, 不就可以比了吗？怎么不行呢？谢谢指教！

 可以推出4%F=16 ,    可求出F =400个

LS 的把4%当成了1/4

我是以以下這樣的思路計算第二題:

題目中給了百分之4的法語學生也同時學習日語
                è 0.04F = F+J

第二個條件給了百分之10的日語學生也同時學習法語
                è 0.01J = F+J

結合兩個
                è 0.04F = F+J & 0.01J = F+J

                 è 0.04F = 0.01J

                 è F/J = 0.01/0.04

                è F = 占了0.01

                      J = 占了
                0.04

所以條件二結合了題目給的訊息能夠比較F &Ｊ的數量。

（注意：　能夠比較，　但不代表需要求出ＥＸＡＣＴ數字）

楼上同学，好象有点复杂了，直接就可以联立，0.04f=0.01j，就是j=4f了。

1)16 students at the school study both French and Japanese.

2)10 percent of the students at the school who study Japanese also study French.

我的解体思路

从题目中可以得出:

J>100 & F*0.04=FJ, FJ denotes people study both japanese and french.

1). 16 = FJ = 0.04 F

=> F = 400

Since J > 100 , and F = 400.

不清楚谁多谁少.

2). 0.1J = FJ

0.1J = 0.04 F

J = 0.4 F

所以明显J>F

所以答案是B.

但是由1可以推出16％ percent of the students at the school who study Japanese also study French  （16/100），这和条件2不是一样的了么。说明1也可以推出来的哈

1不可以，题目中说  4 percent of the students who study French also study Japanese，who study French是后置定语修饰the students,所以这句话的意思是：在学习法语的学生中，有4%同时学习日语，
1）中说的是所有学生中，同时学习法语与日语的共16人，不能用：4%*学法语的人数=16，因为学日语的学生中同时学法语的人数不知道
