Scientists have modified feed corn genetically, increasing its resistance to insect pests. 关于d选项：不是和文中已知信息重复了吗，文中已经说杀虫剂的使用会变少。

b选项：考察价格，如果今年价格变高那么在成本增加的情况下利润是有可能比去年多的不是吗？那就可以削弱结论。反之是增强，b选项为什么不可以。

用基因改良后的玉米 是不是能够挣到更多的利润 其对比的对象是 跟种植普通的玉米相比
而不是在说今年和去年的关系

题干说换成转基因玉米之后，农民用了更少的农药（比如原来的50%），但是省的钱不足以抵消更贵的种子
D说的是去年换成转基因玉米的农民是不是其实用了比需要更多的农药。如果是真的，那么其实农民可能可以用30%的农药就够了，那么省的钱就可以超过种子更贵的钱了。
B说玉米价格，这个价格没说对转基因还是普通玉米是不一样的，那如果价格一样，不影响农民选择种转基因还是普通玉米。
