真心请教成绩单核实的问题!

多谢各位的意见。 实际上我并没有改成绩， 只是把两门补考的成绩不列出来。 有些网站说这是算GPA的tip, 所以想知道这算不算做假。

如果门门功课都是85分以上， 当然不需要这些小tip。 要是成绩一般的话， 就只有GPA上的计算用些小tip了， 希望这不算作假。 也不知道美国学校怎么复查，并没用改成绩啊。

This doesn't sound logical to me.  Speaking from my own experience, I graduated 8 years ago, when my school did not keep electronic copy of students' transcript.  In order to issue my transcript, my school's admission and record officer had to visit the student archive center to find my paper record and manually key in my transcript.  It turned out to be a one week process.  

First of all, I don't know who authorizes Tsinghua to keep transcripts for other schools' students.  Second, even if they are allowed to do so, who could actually do that?  Consider the level of complexity of my case, what would it take for Tsinghua to do the same thing for millions of college grads in China?

题外话，老外到清华去查分，需要付钱吗？

据说查验你的背景包括第三方机构认证你的分数，当然需要钱，而这个钱是由你来担负的。

另外，你怎么做是你的判断问题，是不是值得冒险。我成绩单里也有很恶心的分数，有些老师可能过于严苛了，我们一个系某门课的期中考试平均分三十多分，这些事情无从解释。而且还有像有些选修课象诗歌欣赏什么的课，60多分都列在成绩单上，但有些学校明确要求把所有的课都报上去，我想了想还是如实照办，只是为了心安。

我也说句题外话，自己过去真是傻啊，不知道大学成绩影响这么多年，早知这样，不论如何也要考个好分数。

I vote for the way of telling the truth. One big requirement for MBA candiates is integrity. How can we show our personal integrity by providing countfeit transcripts? My undergraduate GPA is not that great especially for the second and third year with some ugly grades there. However, I wanted to show who I'm and how I'm able to improve through reflection. I won't regret if schools reject me only because of my not very perfect GPA. Be true to yourself and others. That's the only way you can stand out. And again, the longer work experience you have, the less impact GPA will have on your application.

ps: I am able to get perfect  transcript though. But I decided to adopt the honest way.

Was he UCLA guy? How come somebody want to check his transcript after two years? This doesn't make sense. Maybe he has some enemies.

It seems that only HBS officially claim that it will check transcripts. Other schools just need offical transcript. They may not bother to check it at all.

as the registar of my undergraduate university told me, some foreign universities do verify the transcripts
