一道advance里面的PS题，不难但是纠结答案！数学大佬救救孩子

原题Store N gives a 50 percent discount on the list price of all its items and Store W gives a 60 percent discount on the list price of all its items. If the list price of the same item is 20 percent higher in Store W, what percent (more or less) of the selling price in Store N is the selling price of the item in Store W?

答案是第2个 4% less

我假设N原价100.W原价120--》现在N50 W48---》差2

但是 最后一句话还原成正常语序 不是问N is XXXX percent more/less of W吗？

那不是应该N 比W 多4%吗？为啥是4% less呢？

麻烦大佬看看我思维错在哪里 /(ㄒoㄒ)/~~

percent of, of后面是单位一，这里n是单位一。问的是w比n少或者多百分之多少。

我是这么想的啊 问的是what percent (more or less) of...你把4%less代入读一下句子。其实就是4% less of the selling price in N is the selling price of the item in W。W是N的4%less

哦！因为 percent of后面紧接着的是N 所以是N的4% 不是W！谢谢大佬~

原来如此！我特殊疑问句还原为陈述句 以为是 把 what percent 放在 主语the selling price in N 后面，理解成了 the selling price in N is what percent of the selling price in W?
