Capital Marketing Round Co-op申请，我申请了26个岗位，两个投行面试。五大行之二发了俩面试，由于英语不够好加没有本地经验，面试没中。期间两周基本只睡了3-5小时。所以建议早点准备。

教授挺好，学了一些本科没学过的东西。比如说统计课老师讲了为何看上去更尖的正态分布其实可能峰度更低，finance课讲了为何无风险利率不能用现在的十年国债利率等。顺便还问了会计教授，实务中如何发现企业用completion of percentage method财务造假。

已经有个学姐co-op去五大行做investment banking analyst了。有个学长去一个big name firm做equity research co-op analyst。还有学长做corporate banking。还有学长coop在做machine learning的项目。都是土生土长中国人。非中国人牛逼的也很多（有些是国际生有些是在加拿大呆了很多年），我知道的有俩在做investment banking co-op，一个在做宏观分析co-op。还有一些我不知道的。这些都是class 2020的情况，年代更久远的数据不甚了解。请收下我的膝盖。

Bain和BCG的associate(intern)岗居然也把我们项目当target，真是万万没想到。不过consulting无论在哪个国家都不太好进，加上我个人对consulting没有特别擅长，所以我只是随便投投简历，当当分母。另外对于四大assurance，我们项目不是target。想去四大做审计的话，建议还是报多大那个项目，因为目前四大审计只来了个KPMG。德勤的审计只想招我们学校的本科生。但其他公司的会计审计岗还不少

laurier有些本科生真的非常有趣。我认识一个人高三就开始实习，做了俩实习，实习一点都不水，各种建模（DCF，precedent transaction，comparable analysis），还搞了个startup，目前还在运营着。大一搞了第二个startup，第二个startup的融资也挺顺利。大一还弄了双学位，管理学位gpa4.0，数学学位gpa3.9+. 还搞了个学生基金。目前和我在另一个equity research analyst program共事。这位大神非常谦虚，说没有像我做过ib那么闪耀。感觉大神真的说笑了，我做过ib并不算什么，并没有遇到什么太复杂的分析，他的achievement才是真的牛。

For the first Co-op, I got one offer for an equity research position in the primary round. However, please be advised that the early round and the primary round job hunting are not easy. I have the offer primarily because I’m lucky. It’s really hard, as I applied for 200 positions and I just got one offer. So don’t beat yourself up if you don’t have many interviews or you have to participate in the continuous round. Work hard and hang on. Don’t set the expectation too high, because for the first co-op you don’t have the local experience but you need to compete with local students who have worked at big name banks before. For the second co-op, it will be much much much easier. The first one is the hardest.

太、太吓人了。投了两百个，还是国内有ib经历的人。
其实我是看dalhousie的帖子搜到楼主的发帖经历的。想问一下，同样是带coop，而且dal好像还包分配，为啥最后选了WL？
