逻辑小白，做第一道weaken就有了问题T.T...

在Bible中的weaken题型中，有一道题目

Nurse: Dr.Roark's patients tend to require far more time for recuperation than the patients of any other surgeon at Oceanside Hospital. Although she is reputed to be quite talented, Dr. Roark is clearly not as skilled as the other surgeons at Oceanside.

which of the following, if true, most seriously weakens the nurse's argument?

(A) Dr. Roark's patients tend to require fewer procedures than those of other docotors in the hosptial.

答案上的解释是：A选项错误，因为A是支持原来的观点的。

原解析是这样说的：(This is an Opposite answer that strengths the claim that Dr.Roark is not as skilled as other surgeons by showing that Dr. Roark's patients required fewer procedures than the patients of other doctors. In general, one would expect that a patient with fewer procedures would require less recuperation time thana patrient that required a greater number of procedures )

我的理解是：选项中既然说了医生R的病人需要的手术次数（程序）少，也就意味着恢复的时间短→正好否定了premise句：R医生病人恢复时间长的情况(即R医生的恢复时间比其他医生的病人恢复时间长)→所以成功的否定了stimuli中的premise句

→所以选择A是可以的

。

为什么选项中是说支持了argument？？（看上面的解析也没看懂，我认为是否定了stimuli，原文是支持了stimuli正好是反着的。）

我今天刚看完了bible这一章。这个题不难，题目的结论就是：Roark is clearly not as skilled as the other surgeons at Oceanside. 而A选项说的是这个大夫做手术的步骤少。一方面可以说某个大夫手术步骤少跟他的技术没有关系，一方面也可以说他步骤少就是因为他技术不行，技术好的大夫都是步骤多的那种。加油！

嗯嗯，你的解释我明白，但是原文中的解释我感觉很奇怪啊：它上面说：手术步骤少的一般都是康复比较快的，R的步骤是少的，所以康复的也比较快，刚好反驳了原文中的premise句。解析上的这种解释又该怎么理解呢？

1. 解析说 one would expect...这里用了would是虚拟语气。 2. 按照你的逻辑 是反驳了premise，但是没有用。你需要weaken的对象是conclusion，你的反驳对conclusion 不起作用的。

我也有一个疑问。bible上面是说“ Dr.Roark's patients tend to require far more time for recuperation than the patients of any other surgeon”和“she is reputed to be quite talented”是premise，而“Dr. Roark is clearly not as skilled as the other surgeons at Oceanside.”是conclusion。
为什么conclusion不是“ Dr.Roark's patients tend to require far more time for recuperation than the patients of any other surgeon”，然后“she is reputed to be quite talented”和“Dr. Roark is clearly not as skilled as the other surgeons at Oceanside.”是premise呢？
”因为Dr. Roark没有其他外科医生那么skilled，所以他的病人required more time for recuperation“，感觉也说得通啊。
不知道楼主知不知道这个问题，求解答，谢谢啦
