Introduction:

The Program in Economic and Public Policy (PEPP) at the University of Tsukuba is now welcoming applications for fall 2019 intake.

PEPP is an 18-month master’s program which targets mid-career professionals with a solid university education and working experience in areas related to policymaking. It is one of the oldest English program offered at the University of Tsukuba. Upon successful completion of all requirements of the Program, students will receive the degree of Master of Arts in Economics.

The program invites those candidates who need sound knowledge of economics in making policy decisions. Our curriculum is designed to train professionals who will devote themselves to positions or endeavors related to the economic and social development of their respective countries and regions. We expect, together with our sponsoring institutions, the World Bank (WB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), many more talented and motivated professionals to join us and to apply their newly enhanced knowledge and skills to help accelerate the pace of economic and social development in their countries.
