【面经】HEC Paris GE 2018 Round 1 [2018-11-22]

刚刚结束HEC GE第一轮的面试，赶紧来发面经还愿！
楼主BG：211法专，辅修新闻，2018年毕业，目前在一家start-up工作，GPA 3.8，GMAT 730，大三法国交换一年，实习4段并与法国联系密切。
推荐信三封：1封国内论文导师（中国教授），2封是工作和实习时的大牛领导（法国人，其中一位是HEC校友）

面试官一名是admission officer，坐在办公室里；一名是在巴黎一家tech company工作的法国校友，应该是家中或办公室。场面都非常casual和谐。
他俩先自我介绍，一开始网络连接不太稳定...
Admission officer先自己念了我的信息：名字，毕业院校... 所以没有自我介绍的部分...

1. What do you think of your life after your graduation? - Work in innovation in the tech industry
2. You studied French and journalism, why change to biz? - I wanted to be a journalist to make a better world, but found business is a more direct and practical way.
3. You are working in two places at the same time? - One full-time, one volunteer.
4. Do you still speak French in Shanghai? (用法语问的) - So answered in French: Oui,… (Alumni a dit très bien / very good)
5. Do you want to continue the interview in French or English?  - English.
6. What do you want to do outside of studies in HEC? - student clubs: Start’HEC(in detail), coding camps (l'ecole 42, le wagon), salsa dance, wine culture
7. You lived in Lyon, talk about the Lyon Model United Nations. - (Ah I didn’t prepare it..) I presented China, we talked about nuclear waste, I was active and got a prize, I met friends from other regions and countries, I love that multi-cultural environment.
8. Do you like Lyon? - Yes, but at that time, I only discovered student life there, if I come back to Lyon, I will discover their innovation ecosystem. I met two people last week, I know they have a lot of entrepreneurial projects…
9. Do you want to stay in France or come back to China? - Stay in France for 3-5 years to know more French innovation, and then bring start-ups to the Chinese market (in China)
10. Any questions for us? - I asked the alumni her different feelings of working in startups (actually she worked in an incubator) and now in a tech company; 然后根据她的回答又问了 the processes in her current company is a challenge / pb for corporate innovation?  Asked the admission officer about HEC incubator. (I wanted to ask if they try to internationalize their startups, but it seems he misunderstood.)

总体而言气氛非常nice，没有被cha，问题都focus在学生自己身上。我准备了最近的新闻、科技领域的中法合作、人工智能的发展等，都没有问到。

几点体会：
1.最重要的还是简历，感觉面试官只拿着我的简历问！！之前实习和活动的细节最好过一遍，里昂模联那是一年半以前的事情啦...而且只出现在我的honors里 --||
2.学校社团很重要！！HEC很看重你将来在学生活动里的参与度 （毕竟以后其实并不会有多少课，有大把大把时间是让你用在社团里的...）
3.别紧张，听到问题停2秒钟再回答，尽量让自己的回答structured一点。我感觉我有些问题答的太快，可以再多涉及一些点

关于准备面试：
1. HEC其实非常贴心，收到admissible的通知后有一封邮件告诉你面试会涉及的问题，大致上问的就是上面这些
2. 偶然在HEC学生博客网站上发现的好资源： http://campus.hec.fr/the-hec-experience-blog/2018/07/24/a-guide-to-hec-interviews/
3. 找有一定经验的人mock interview，如果认识法国朋友就更好了，毕竟思维方式比较相近。我模了两次，一次是念LBS GMiM和复旦双学位的法国小姐姐，见面模的，她还给我讲了一些法国人比较喜欢的小套路；第二次是Skype，跟一位念巴政和加拿大UBC双学位的法国小哥哥，第一次感受了Skype的渣画质...
4. 如果会法语的话，可以在Google上搜一些 HEC entretien 之类的，有法国学生的回忆，面试问题也是差不多的。还有prepa HEC 这个网站。

我从去年就开始准备申请法国高商，考GMAT、准备面试、择校都在CD上吸取了不少前辈的经验，今天终于有机会回馈了！希望这一年多来的心愿能最终成真，笔芯！

想问一下楼主总学分达到180嘛？我看官网对学分还有要求？但是我只有170学分....

完成全部本科课程是有180学分的。但是我因为完整的成绩单丢失，所以只交了一个缺失最后一学期的成绩单，他们也没有说这个有问题。
建议你最好还是写信给admission office问哦~
