我剛考砸了邏輯，當練習分析一下。感覺A到D的考點在句子指涉的範圍／程度。

“though on occasion unsuccessfully”就因为有这一句，所以B some cases可能是这样。
由题目推导一定会正确的说法

個人認為，「篩資料來源」本身只是方便之後判斷的其中一步，而並不是一個approach本身。換言之它和文中所說的「直接猜」並不是呈並列關係的。
