Hi Hao14,
Sorry to hear the news from you. What I want to say is:
1) If you really want to try IMD, please ask the detailed reasons why the school rejects you. If you don't agree with it, you can argue. There was a case that a girl from one emerging market received one reject letter, but finally got offer because she argued and the reasons were accepted by school.
2) Think of which kind of value you can create for IMD, please put yourself to the shoes of IMD or other schools. What do these schools want to get from you? Or how can you contribute to the class?
3) Think of other channel apart from MBA program that can really add value to you. Do it.
4) GMAT is important, but not so important.
5) Have a whole picture of your career development, what do you want to achieve? What do you want to do? Where is your interest? Is your dream achievable only when you take MBA programs? 6) As for age, this batch (2018), the age is ranged from 26 to 36, you are only 33, what make you think your life will have less probabilities? We the Chinese may force us to complete everything before 30, but for westerners, their life just starts at the age of 30. Therefore, I encourage you to keep moving, never give up your dreams.
7) Good luck.
Regards,
Cyril
