MBA申请求帮忙定位

大家好！CD论坛大神好多，对比自己越看越心虚了。求大家帮忙定位一下申请什么档次的学校合适一点（目标是S16的，现在很心虚），好让楼主心里也有个底。（计划2018 Fall入学。已经已经很晚了，但是楼主一直在努力跟上）。另外，本来一直只倾心美国的MBA，但是考虑到成本以及毕业后想回国，现在也在纠结是不是应该申个时间短一点的欧洲的项目，或者直接申个国内的项目，如中欧，长江这样？

麻烦大家帮忙给个建议，谢谢大家！

交代下背景:

29岁；
国内某比较靠前的985机械工程本硕；
GPA: 本科：3.76/4 （专业第2/132），硕士 3.75/4 (专业前15%)
GMAT：730
托福：还没考出来，计划12月份考出来，目标105
工作经验：6年：4年在500强某石油行业做Field Engineer(负责现场作业规划、内外部沟通协调等）和Procurement Specialist (其实偏向供应商管理), 2年在电动工具某top company做Project Sourcing Engineeer (主要负责某产品类的项目采购及供应商管理，偶尔也会以项目经理的角色带一些项目)。3个月海外培训，没有海外工作经验。

根据先前类似背景拿了西北wl，也上了UV Darden
S16有战
唯一问题出在信心不足
G可以再高
选修课要看跟career branding的关联性
海外培训算海外经验

然后要看career goals为何
这会跟为何转职有关
来自于生涯三驱力—兴趣技能、性格养成、专业能力（请见前文）
往Management Associate与Operation Manager的目标前进是很直白的选项，但要看lz实际的生涯动机为何

然后要尽量强调leadership经验，并且在实际工作上尽量争取，还有三个月可以努力

Hey there!
Very good to hear from you.
Well if your desire is to cut the MBA short you have many one0year programs in Europe, but also several int he US (Cornell, Kellogg, Babson, etc.). So you will have some options on both sids of the Atlantic.

I think that choice is more of a personal one:
- Do you want to live and study in Europe?
- What are your goals?
- Do you speak any other languages?
- Where would you prefer to go?


All of these things will have a strong influence on your profile.

Hi Jan, Sorry to write back to you so late, i just finished my struggle with GMAT.

You must be a very kind man, you've given many good suggestion to me and others.

Actually my preference for working location is China, but it is still acceptable for me to work abroad for maximum 3 years, Europe and US are both ok for me. I do not speak other langauges besides Chinese and English. I would like to chase my career goal of operation management or supply chain management in technology/industrial companies.

Hello there,
Good to hear from you again. Well, with your current GMAT score an S16 admit might be a bit challenging. Things can get very competitive for Chinese applicants… Since you are aiming for one-year programs, I would say go to whatever ones you can apply to, US or Europe.

But now you should consider if either you can retake the GMAT or if you are willing to compromise a bit on your school targets.

Thank you! I will retake a GMAT, target at 750.
