Great to hear from you! So first of all, obviously if you will return to the same position, it makes no sense to do an MBA! However, in all likelihood, especially if you get an offer from a Top10 school, this will not be the case, and it can open many doors for you. Of course, this is your decision.
1. This is a hard question to answer because a lot of your offer will depend on YOU and your prior experience. You have a big range of people with a big range of experience going to B-school. and people come from all over the place. It is however true that many people go into finance or consulting.
2. If you want to live in California, it does make sense to have Stanford and Haas on your list. Although they aren’t easy to get into, even with great profiles.
