-ing 的用法：

1、modify the former noun
2、modify the former clause （同一timeframe）

try doing有experiment的意味，想看看最后结果如何，没有特意追求怎样的目标的意思
try to do 是尽力做，从而达到目的，但不一定成功（不同于manage to）
