托福分数是申请的硬伤吗？

正在准备申请中，GMAT740，托福102（口语20），欧洲学校大多要求105或者110分以上，如果低几分申请，会不会直接被pass？

如果学校对托福有硬性要求，不管是总分或是小分，还是尽量达到学校的这个要求，除非其他背景非常地优秀

Hey there,
Some of them will. It is best for you to study and retake if you can. You already have a great score on the harder GMAT!!! I feel like you should be able to hit a 110 on the TOEFL.

I'm afraid it's hard for me to get a high enough score during such a limited time. I have sent emails to several schools, some of which replied "We look at each application with a holistic review process and TOEFL scores is just one of the components of many variables in an application." Do you think it's okay to apply for these schools, please?

Dear Eva,
If there is not enough time, then my advice is do the best you can. It’s a very good idea to email the schools first as you have done. For example, I know that Oxford and HBS can be sometimes quite strict about their minimum TOEFL, but other schools are less strict. It is of course true that your application will be evaluated holistically, so everything counts. And the TOEFL is also not usually the most significant part of your profile.
