JJ28  构筑说 for example不是连词，不能连接句子
这句话说的不太认同啊， such as 不能接句子， 但 for example 加逗号，后面完全可以接句子
LZ怎么看？
International sporting events need not be fiscal disasters, the financial success of the 1992 Olympic Games demonstrates that fact.
(A) the financial success of the 1992 Olympic Games demonstrates that fact
(B) for example, the 1992 Olympic Games were financially successful
(C) like the financial success of the 1992 Olympic Games demonstrates
(D) a fact demonstrated by the 1992 Olympic Games, which were financially successful
(E) as the financial success of the 1992 Olympic Games demonstrate

这题选E， 但是B的错误，和for example后面接句子应该没关系， 是改变了句意。这里As作为连词，表示正如。。

As:
1. 既能是介词也能是连词， 能够compare two clauses.
Both right: Like her brother, Ava aced the test.
As her brother did, Ava aced the test.

2. 连词AS
表示Duration            AS=While, During
       Causation          As =Since, because
       Comparison       AS=in the same way
   介词AS
表示   Function           As=in the role of          Equation           I think of you as my frined =you are my friend
          Stage               As a child, I thougt I could fly  As= when I was


比较 AS 可以和just,so,or so too 一起用
JUST AS the trains were late yesterday, the buses are late today.
JUST AS the trains were late yesterday, SO TOO are they late today.
Comparison As can also appear with a phrase, rather than a full clause.
Ex: AS in the previous case, the judge took an early break.

你给的那个 for example 只有adv. 词性。两个句子之间一定要有连词conj.  所以 for example 一定不可以连两个句子的。  B选项没连词也是一个错误点的。结构上就是错的。

JJ30  LZ贴的那个例题， 又查了好多资料，看似简单的题目，内藏深机。
看到一个NN的解释，挺好的。。。

So as to    做为目的状语使用，和in order to一样，是不定是做目的状语的明确形式。
1、     既然做状语， 修饰对象要明确。在这一句话里面，so as to前有2个限定动词，sought和have，这样就造成了歧义：是sought….. so as to, 还是have…annulled so as to。注意，从意思上看，这种歧义对我们中国人并没有造成迷惑，但是从语法上分析，是有问题的。就像有些动词必须要接动名词，有些动词必须要接不定式一样，你不能说"我看懂了，没有造成我理解上的问题,所以对了"，因为语法上规定了，错的就是错的。
2、     have sth done也很有意思，done后还隐藏着别的主语。所以so as to/in order to/to放在这种结构后面，好像也有些不妥。
3、     so that避免了1和2的问题。但是在简单系表结构后使用so as to还是很好的

我总结了下，遇到so as to 这种，要看清楚so as to前面的结构，如果是简单的主系表就可以用so as to， 如果前面出现两个动词，名词啊之类，还是不能用so as to，会有歧义。
