079 Your city has decided to build a statue or monument to honor a famous person in your country. Who would you choose? Use reasons and specific examples to support your choice.

本来是随便选一个题目的，不想写选择型，就选了这个，结果1个小时才写完，真想去撞墙。找论点的时候六神无主，想了老半天。其实我都不知道到底选那个人好，一点sense都没有，硬着头皮写完，其他的啥也顾不上了。郁闷！

Obviously, people will face hundreds of selections when deciding to build a statue or momument to honor a famous person in China. A multi-race country with more than 5000 years affluent culture, China has developed a bulky of famous people in each field. Therefore, some people with romantic feelings would like to choose famous poets such as Libai. Notwithstanding, other people fascinated at technology will prefer such a noted scientist as Zhuchongzhi. As far as I am concerned, I would like to build a statue of respected premier--Zhouenglai. The reasons will be illustrated in the following parts.

A famous politician not only in china but also in global political stage, Zhou is well known and highly respected by most of people. Only such people as Zhou can typify the sprit of the country and avoid endless argues brought by other unknown people. At the same time, setting up a

statue of zhou can intrigue people's common feeling and promote the uniform of the country.   

Being a pioneer of Chinese independence campaign and devoted his whole life to Chinese people, Zhou is the best example of dedication and sacrifice for current Chinese. No people can deny that Chinese economic is soaring each year, the life level is enhancing day by day and the education is improved throughout cities and villages. But just as every coin has two sides, more and more people are condemning that Chinese people especially the young generation is losing the precious sprit of devotion and sacrifice, just focusing on personal winning and losing. If Zhou's statue were set up and more stories about him were introduced to every visiting people, we would have more college to teach and work in western china to improve the poor areas education.

Except for all mentioned reasons, Zhou's personal merits especially the hard working and cost-saving deserve each generation to study. Just 15 years ago, nobody can imagine that we will have such a big pool of available products to choose and so luxury service that is enjoying by

current Chinese. However, just as they are complimenting the past difficult period, many people go to another end--wasting and luxury. The news report about riches who spend RMB 40 thousand in one meal is very normal, with that money people in western can live for 2 whole years. Definitely Zhou's hard working and cost saving sprit can make those people shame and reconsider their actions.

Admittedly, statue of other persons such as poets who can bring us fresh air and literature knowledge also has advantages that Zhou's can't produce. I still prefer Zhou's statue just because his global reputation, the sprit of devotion and sacrifice, and the sprit of hard working and cost-saving can influence Chinese people, benefiting generations of offspring.
