1，If 500 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to X and 400 is the multiple of 100 that is closest to Y, which multiple of 100 is closest to X+Y?

(1)X<500

(2)Y<400

2,If set S consist of the numbers 1, 5, -2, 8, and n, is 0<n<7?

(1)the median of the numbers in S is less than 5.

(2)the median of the numbers in S is greater than 1.

3,还有一个问题就是，我们在做profit题时，profit=revenue-expense or profit=selling price-cost,其中revenue=selling price, expense=cost么？

应该不能缺省认为成本是和units成正比的吧？

1.题目的意思是500是100倍数中最靠近X的数(假设为整数吧),则450<X<550,同理350<Y<450,求100倍数中最靠近X+Y的数为几?

当X<500且Y<400,可唯一确定 选C

2.由条件1得到N<5,条件2得到N>1 只有同时满足条件1,2才能得出 0<N<7 选C

第二题我明白了，可是第一题和第三题我还是不大懂，

第一题 应该推出800<X+Y<900吧！这样就无法确定X+Y是最接近8还是9了，

就该选E了吧！

说明450<x<550，350<y<450

再根据条件是450<X<500，350<y<400

x,y都取最小的时候是最接近800，都最大的时候最接近900，应该是E吧？

3,还有一个问题就是，我们在做profit题时，profit=revenue-expense or profit=selling price-cost,其中revenue=selling price, expense=cost么？

应该不能缺省认为成本是和units成正比的吧？

这问题太系统在下不擅长回答。说点不成文的建议。我感觉这两个公式就是表达形式不同其实内容一样。利润就是收入-支出。revenue-expense应该是求总的profit的，因为好像没有说哪个商品的revenue，如果说单个商品一般就用selling price吧。selling price-cost指的是单个商品的销售盈利？分别乘以销售量才是总的。还有总成本应该和销售个数成正比吧。

千万别机械的记忆公式。明白怎么回事就行了。

只是还有个小小的疑问，一般DS题如果答案是D的话，

是否我们分别通过两个条件算出的结果应该一致呢？

不知自己表述清楚没有。

For question 1,

x could be 501 or 499, y could be 401 or 399

The closest multiple of 100 will be 900 when x, y take any of the above values.

Thus the answer will be E.

为什么两个相加 x,y都取最小的时候是最接近800，都最大的时候最接近900

而答案是E呢
