很多校友们在WPI读书，最大的感受就是课业真心不轻松，想要得A，肯定得时常去图书馆下苦功。其实WPI的图书馆给学生们提供非常好的资源，今天就来简单介绍下~
先上图~个人觉得没见过比这更美的图书馆~~






WPI的图书馆全称是George C. Gordon Library。说起图书馆，肯定得有强大的资源系统，WPI的资源非常丰富。具体请参考下面的list：

Summon Search:search tool allows seamless access to the library’s physical and electronic resources from a single search box. Search results include books and eBooks, research and news articles, project reports, electronic theses and dissertations, archival materials, patents, open access collections, and more.
Course Guides: these guides contain invaluable information to help you succeed. You will find lists of relevant databases, suggestions for scholarly search engines, links to journals for further research, facts and information about your field of study, and key course concepts and objectives.
Databases and Electronic Resources: search from a listing of over 150 databases covering different disciplines and dates to find the resources that will best assist you in your research.
Journals: find print and electronic journals, magazines, newspapers, and eBooks from a complete and searchable listing of those available in the library with links to those available online.
Library Catalog: access our Library Catalog to find books, eBooks, journal titles, DVDs, project reports, theses, dissertations, and many other library materials.
Mobile Resources: helps you find information on, and gain access to, mobile databases, Cross Platform apps, iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad specific apps, Android specific apps, eBook Readers, and electronic book databases.
Project Reports: find undergraduate research projects since 1999 from IQP & MQP reports submitted in print and online.
Subject Listings: these comprehensive listings provide you access to information and resources that will help you succeed in your coursework. Within a given subject, you will find relevant databases, course guides, and research guides.
Theses and Dissertations: since 2002, WPI has required all theses and dissertations to be submitted and made available online. Print copies date back to 1894. You can search the collection in a number of ways.
WorldCat: connects you to the collections and services of more than 10,000 libraries worldwide. WorldCat offers users more advanced search options for books and materials in these libraries.
WPI History: The rich history of WPI is at your fingertips. Access information on the university’s archives and papers, founders, distinguished alumni, as well as the full texts of The Two Towers Tradition, Tech Bible, and Seventy Years, and more.

除了数据资源，George C. Gordon Library也有很多硬件资源。这里有十多个会议室可以供学生预定，每个会议室都配有电脑，投影仪和白板。
在来WPI商学院之前，很多学生都觉得为什么课程都在晚上，那白天做什么？首先，因为商学院的所有课都开放给所有专业的学生，所以晚间6：00到8：50上课可以让那些同时在工作的MBA专业的学生也能on-campus读书。其次，大家完全不用担心白天没事做，几乎每门课都会有team work，所以你会发现白天永远被各种group study塞得满满的。。。不过这也造就了一般来说会议室每天都是爆满的情况，所以如果是临近期中或者期末，必须要提前至少一周才有可能预定成功。




除此之外，图书馆提供打印扫描服务，各种仪器的借用，甚至又IT Help Desk可以帮忙解决学生的笔记本电脑的配设置问题。
另外图书馆内还设有咖啡休息区域，提供咖啡，茶，三文治等小吃。PS：每学期的期中期末时间段，图书馆都会在晚上提供免费的小吃哦！



WPI的图书馆不仅仅是学生学习的场所，也会举办一些workshop，比如下面就是一个对做project非常有帮助的event。
