sorry, i think you really know very little about MBA. MBA is nothing to do with research. and nothing to do with specific professors. you don't need to get personal contact with professors.... furthermore, i don't think to launch a dot com company in a third world could be respected as highly in adcom's view as what you expect, even if your company is quite successful. there is handful persons out there who are doing their starup pretty successful. you just don't know them, not representing they do not exist. I myself am an entreprenuer....a schoolmate once ran a dot come company during internet boom and sold it out right before dot com crash. she cashed in 10 million RMB. At that time, she was 24. ... I am in no way discouraging you. on the other hand, i really admire your ambition. But ambition only works when it could be implemented with realistic plans. do you have such plans? do you know who needs an MBA? MBA, even harvard MBA, is never for those people who truely stand out. They just don't need that brandname to impress others, they are already there. to believe or not, at least in my circle, people going harvard are never those da niu. Da Niu upon whom we all agree never need an MBA. By saying that, I have no offend to those MBA aspirants. I myself one of them... there are possiblity for you to get into harvard (the popular saying, impossible is nothing). given you could prove how successful your startup is, how smarter you are than your peers, and your will definitedly be a successful man, with or without MBA, etc, etc, harvard may like you. but before doing that, i still suggest you to check out the admission guideline on their website, at least you have to fulfill their bottom requirement, do you?
