A、D的争论很多，我现在偏向于D，因为觉得除了逻辑意思上通顺以外（A选项意味着framework被垫高到3－4feet,注意是垫高到，而不是垫高了，也就是说framework的最后高度是3-4feet，个人觉得实在讲不过去，太矮了），是不是A选项还容易引起歧义呢？比如说容易让人理解为既有可能与conical 并列，又有可能与overlaid并列。（这可能涉及到另外一个语法点，如果句子的表达形式如下：

s+be ＋adj  and be+分词......,第二个be动词可以省略吗？，如果可以的话，就存在上述的歧义问题，如果不可以的话，那就没有歧义了）

困惑中。。。。

红色部分独立主格，its指代house's，overlaid与banked均为过去分词修饰framework。我觉得结构很合理。逻辑意思的角度，我会直接排除as...as的选项。1.A选项表达的是to the height of的意思，那就正确选项就应该是这个意思。2.with dirt (that is)as high as,这里有个限制性定语从句引导词+be的省略，that就进修饰dirt，而非framework，则被垫高了的是dirt。

还要说一点：不把(be)banked看作与was conical平行的原因是中间插入语太长，严重影响理解句子的清晰性。简而言之，看作与was conical平行，那也离得太远了，我认为“增加理解难度的选项都是不好的”。

这道题不建议大家继续纠缠。因为涉及到破折号究竟起怎样的作用。我还没听说过谁实战的时候碰到过这样的问题。冒号与分号出现比较多，而且主要起断句的作用，本身不承担任何省略的功能。我认为SC不会这么无聊。

我认为at which好，后面的成分修饰price。虽然我不知道charge for sth at given price这样的用法正不正确。但选as必须是as the price as....选than没有比较级.选of what，因为waht在这样的结构中应该有两个成分，而此处只需要一个。所以有the price of price的冗余。that是我第二倾向的选项。但这里的that显然不是连词，那就是一个“which”必须在后面的句子中作成分。但没有介词我找不到that能充当的成分。

GWD的阅读与逻辑我没什么好说的，一是因为我不觉得答案有什么问题，而是这些题目回答起来很主观，我没有设置主观标准的能力。而SC第一我印象深刻，第二可以设置客观标准。所以我可能只能回答SC的问题。另外，一定也邀请薰衣紫草来斧正。她在SC上的功夫远在我之上。
