我查了一下kill有猎获物的意思，那么第一句怎么确定是指捕杀猎物过程中发生得竞争
而不是指由于同类之间的竞争（有一题就有这个歧义项）。这里有一个与解题无关的疑问，这里并列有点奇怪，按理说prey少，发生偷盗也很正常，但作者却只把偷盗跟竞争并列？

刚才翻了下郎文，关于kill:1、[countable usually singular] the act of killing a hunted animal

2、[singular] an animal that is killed by another animal。

文章里用的是复数，那应该是指杀的过程而不是指猎物了。

另外我觉得不用这么详细的查KILLS的意思，毕竟考试的时候出了类似的词我们谁也不可能通过翻字典来确定这么细微的意思差别。如果把这里的竞争理解成同类间的或者异类间的都可以，因为作者没有详细说明。

这里把偷盗和竞争并列，是因为prey少，是从prey方面提出的解释，而偷和竞争是从predator这方面提出的解释，所以偷和竞争排在一起。

这里的理解我认为还是比较关键的，因为233题E选项就考这点

我觉得，kills是指猎物。但这应当和233题正确与否无关。
