MSc or MBA (canada)

加拿大一般商学院毕业，GPA 3.7 暑假四年全部国内小企业实习。 有参加一点竞赛得过奖。会计专业但是不想做会计。自己在创业大赛中做的一个项目不错现在在找私募。毕业了家里在加拿大找个小公司说要先移民（中国老板你懂得），原来打算是这样等下去再顺便考GMAT(估计能上700），然后移民。

现在有个机会：Ivey ms management E&I (新项目没有两年，而且毕业是自己创业的而不是大公司就业，对IB没信心估计是被本科教授虐的）我觉得可以拼一下。
MSc 含金量不如MBA，但是就不知道现在自己应该怎么选，因为鸡肋的因素太多了。
之前看到有人choose between work and MBA
求大大指引，应该怎么选？

Hello there,
Well it's hard for me to say - if your family is moving to Canada and you are only going to Canadian schools, then the Ivey program seems good. It's hard to say, it being so new. Anyhow an MBA, even if it is theoretically better, it seems to me that you are a recent graduate with no work experience, if I understand correctly? In which case, an MBA is not really an option at this point.

Are you also considering Rotman?

Thanks for your reply! It's true that I barely have working experience Canadian schools might recognize. Current I have made up my mind in applying this program. Because: 1)I really believe my startup plan would work - even though people have abused O2O idea. 2)Finishing this program could also help me immigrate 3)entrepreneurship attracts me. 4)My offer sucks because my shitty boss.

Therefore, if there is high chance of admission or I can receive the offer then I'll definitely choose that. Because Ivey MBA program is not that easy to get in. Besides I could waive GMAT score and apply with my last two years GPA (3.85).

Rotman is specialized in finance and I consider myself not a finance guy.

BTW would you offer some opinion regarding my application in this Ivey MSc program?

Hey,
I understand your position. Right now from what I see here, I’d suggest you apply for MScs which will help you get that first job you are aiming at. And then, if you still want to do an MBA, you can look into that, once you have 2-3 years work experience. It’s just that the MBAs are designed for folks with work experience, and I’m not sure that your application would be effective without it,
