Schulich or Ivey?

SCHULICH 在好几种MBA的排名都好于IVEY，这是何原因？虽然不能仅看排名，但我认为排名在某一程度上也反映专业的强弱，就我了解，IVEY是毕业生就业情况不理想，才导致排名下降。

从我切身体会来讲，我感到IVEY的中国学生组织的很好，互帮互助，从我申请开始，他们是有问必答，但我对CASE STUDY有些害怕，因为我的英语听力口语都比较弱。

请教 bah-toronto ，看来你对这两个学校比较了解，SCHULICH 有那麽差吗？我看到IVEY的毕业生很多都回国发展了，这是不是意味着在北美中国学生较难找工作呢？请指点？

from the Financial TImes, Ceibs jumped from  53th in 2004 to 22nd in 2005. although CEIBS is a good school, maybe also the best b school in mainland, but such a high position is very interesting

one of the reason that CEIBS made such a fly is its salary, from 65,093USD to 97,999USD. But from its offical website: the average annual salary of the 2004 graduates is about 250K RMB , about 30K USD .  http://www.ceibs.edu/today_c/news/archive/3399.shtml

我也在同一条船上。

Schulich是Offer+15000，学费相对合理很多，我是International Business，这是Schulich的强项。另外一个原因是我现在就在toronto，也很想就在这里读书。

但谁又能拒绝Ivey---加拿大最好的商学院？所有的学生、校友都很友好，都以成为一个ivey人为荣（在Schulich我找不到这种凝聚力），将来无论回国还是留在加拿大都好。我怎么都不会忘记，在我告诉当地人我在申请Ivey,他们所表现的赞赏。但我担心Case study不是很适合我，且General management不是我职业的方向。

很诚恳地请大家给出建议！谢谢！

I don't worry about the case study very much, in fact, I regard it as the best way to sharpen my skills to deal with the future real life cases and customers after I graduate from Ivey.

the fact that you have already gotten the offer from Ivey proves that you have met Ivey's standard. I have heard of many refusion cases althought sometimes the candidate really have a sounds good background and Great gmat score.

in my point of view, everyone of us can survive in Ivey if he or she utter her most. don't worry so much. we are an union, and we should and we will help each other to survive in this Game!

Nothing to lose, Nothing to fear. even I lose everything on hand, I still have all things in mind.

if you think Ivey is your target, Just do it.

Ivey最吸引我的是所有人都很友好。我是5月15日在Missisauga的Campus面试的，也跟Dean Stephenson和Ella说了几句话，她们真的很nice。

可能是我孤陋寡闻，没听说过谁是Ivey拒的，给我感觉offer来的太容易，不懂的去珍惜。我会利用这段时间好好想想，何去何从。
