【新手求助】该放弃工作读mba吗

大家好，小弟今年25，工作2年了，对未来的选择有所困惑，求各位大侠给点建议~
弱背景如下：211重点财经本 gpa：3.3  无论文 无牛竞赛 校园经历简单 单纯学生干部
英国 前十硕（非牛剑LSE帝国）merit毕业
曾在在某上市券商（前三十）IBD长期实习，毕业后即留了下来工作2年
现萌生读mba的想法 预计GT在740 和108 左右 想请教一下大家：
现在想读MBA 一是想未来跳槽外资金融大企业，或者创业都需要一个名气响的背景，还是想到英语工作环境里， 二是在IBD实在太累，想重回校园体验学生生活。
大家觉得我该放弃现在工作读书么？直接申请mba还是跳槽到前几大券商申请mba?我有希望冲上什么样的学校呢？谢谢各位了！！

why MBA? just a rest or ???

it seems that a direct job search may be a cheaper solution.......else getting a really good pay job after MBA is still (or even more) tiring....

Hello there,
Well to begin, you should do an MBA if it will get you where you want to do. So if you want to change and move to a firm in the US or UK in finance, then an MBA can be an excellent step for you. You have an excellent GMAT and a great TOEFL, so there’s no reason for you not to apply to Top 20 schools.

Now if you have already an offer to go to a better job, then you might want to take that route BEFORE you do an MBA, because a) it will make you a stronger candidate and b) you will go in with more experience, which I think is very useful.

But otherwise, if you feel the time is right for you to go to an MBA next year, then great

不知怎么一层层回复楼上的好心人，半年了 这个想法又升起来了，我想在ib干到30岁，之后在非上市公司当董秘，然后靠把非上市公司推上市赚钱。所以拼命考保荐人，想去外资ibd 都是想赚个好title ，如果不是那种很有名的学校 就不太想读了 求各位好心人指点 我怎么实现自己目标呢 谢谢！
