cwang关于比较的总结也是我至今见过最好的一个.

cwang总结里的意思是说如果一个句子没有宾语, 谓语动词就不必补出. 但如果主, 谓, 宾齐全, 就应该补出. 但OG46是个主, 谓, 宾齐全的句子, 之所以没有补出谓语动词是因为不会引起歧义.

我想进一步补充一下我对这个问题的理解：
为什么在OG10_46题中，than后面不加谓语动词也不会有歧义？
...they require less medication and gain weight more quickly than those raised in confinement.
those raised in confinement 中的 those 显然与主句中的they是对应的，因为those前面require的宾语medication是单数名词，those不能指代medication，只能指they。
正因为如此，此句than后面即使不加谓语动词，也能确定无疑的表示主语比较。
