1。不知道radiation到底指代什么？是emissions吗？为什么又是单数的？

最后这一句是什么的同位语？

2。杨鹏说：其中的otherwise是副词作状语，表示如果后面的分句所说的they absorb some of the longer-waverlength, infrared emissions不发生时的后果，不是太能理解。

radiation 是指从地球反射回的幅射--some of the longer-wavelength，infrared  emissions radiated from the Earth’s surface，是宾语同位语。

最后一句话是说，如果这些分子如果不吸收some of the longer-wavelength，infrared  emissions radiated from the Earth’s surface的话，这部分幅射（some of the longer-wavelength，infrared  emissions ）就会被反射传导进入太空。

不知道讲清楚了没有？：）

不过我还是有一点困惑，infrared  emissions radiated from the Earth’s surface，和radiation that would　otherwise be transmitted back into space这2句都是longer-wavelength的同位语吗？

不好意思地说，其实讲的很清楚，不知道为什么上午就是晕晕的没有看明白，问题是为什么radiation是单数的呢？
