想请教一下大家，申请美国MBA，牛推重要吗？还有G到底要不要再刷？

想请教一下大家，申请美国MBA，牛推重要吗？
比如利用自己导师的人脉推荐些牛校的教授（好像这个对master或phd更有用吧？）
是不是是否给offer完全看admission office的，而推荐信不那么重要？

另外，请问740的gmat成绩，如果想冲top20的奖学金是不是不够用？还要不要博一下刷到760+...

推荐信重要，牛推会有加分，但这个“牛”如果只是highlight学术能力的话帮助能有多大就不好说。想要奖学金自然是分数越高越好。

老师是美国名校的博士后，单纯的让他作为校友不吝写封推荐信，感觉就够了。在自己的package里多提高下别的方面的还是。

Hello there!

So first of all Congratulations on that AWESOME GMAT!

Do not even THINK about retaking the GMAT with a 740. It would be a waste of your time. Right now your GMAT is higher than everyone else’s and you need instead to work on the OTHER aspects of your profile.

Like, for example selecting your recommenders … Of course LORs are VERY important. Usually they should come from workplaces and not academic institutions (there are a few exceptions), so start thinking about who you can hit up for a recommendations.
