Lao Sun, Thanks for sharing your interview experience. To be honest, I think you are overqualified for this program. Although not confirmed from Gary or Laura, I believe this program is designed for fresh college graduate students with minimal working experience. The parts that could possibly hurt your application are 1 - English proficiency; 2 - Work gap. Other than those, I don't see why Olin wouldn't accept you. Attending English courses prior to the program isn't a bad choice, either. Those courses would help you improve the oral, listening and reading skills which might make you comfortable in the intensive 1-yr program. I also heard from Gary that Olin plans to have 20-30 students for this program this year depending on the quality of applications. There were only 8-9? students enrolled in the program in 2009, since it was the first batch. Most of the students are from WUSTL. I would guess the majority of students for this program this year would come from WUSTL undergrad as well. Assuming 50% yield rate, I would expect Olin to admit around 50 people for MS-SCM program this year - again this is my estimate. Well, all the best! -- by 会员 mopton (2010/2/17 0:50:47)
