2 To understand the most important characteristics of a society, one must study its major cities. （老题库72）

According to the assumption that with the research of the cities, the most important characteristics of a society could be understood well, might have some rational interpretation. After all, form the culture of this country’s city, we can get a lot of information and impression will represent the majority customs of the country. But with the development of the globalization, some cities become more international and step by step have more same traits.

Admittedly, as the important part of the country, such as the capital of China, Beijing, where have over 800 years old city. It is the symbol of the Chinese society and leaves so many place of interest for its descendent, Of course, we can not deny that this city is a sample for to understand the main culture characteristic and really convenient for international people to learn the society of China. Meanwhile, compare to traveling somewhere very far, to visit some developed cites is   much simpler way to investigate the characteristics because of convenience of the transport and in big city foreign people could communicate with local citizen more easily.

Nevertheless, with the development of the globalization, almost all the world metropolis is becoming more and more similar, Maybe those changing will help people form all over the world to adapt the city more quickly, but the researchers will face the problem that those once symbol have lost their special ethnic traits and become to cater the mainstream value of society. Even thought, the local government tries their best to rely on their own society system but in order to gain more economic fruit, it must be changed.

In order to solve this problem, to establish a new method of study in rural area, may become a feasible way. The countryside does not like the downtown area, and keep almost completed local culture and have more value to research. Especially for the developing country, the new constructions mainly build in the big cities and the other area comparative undeveloped, so those area have more old building or ruins would to be research. And it is more possible to find some precious stuff than in the downtown areas, and help people to know more about the special characteristics of the local society.

In sum, even if study in the cities would understand the some parts of the society, but if we wants to obtain more valuable information of the country’s society, we need to investigate the whole area of the country and form its history to detailedly     study the most important characteristic of society.

你的结果是很不错的，这种论证方式感觉很好，倒数第二段提出了自己的对了解一个国家的见解。但你的语言表达的确有很多地方需要注意，比如the的用法，这篇文章中显得很混乱，i.e. as the important part of the country ,这两个the用的就很不恰当。继续努力！
