Very Confused!!! Only $40,000/year

Sorry to use Eng to tell my story, I'm typing in the office.

I'm now newly graduated from the Uni. as an accountant, got a job for around $3,500 a month. But I don't think it is enough for me to live in San Francisco.

How can I choose, go back to China or stay. I've been through a lot of debate, cannot figiure it out....

Thank you so much for your advise! My plan is to get an AICPA license within 1-2 years, and then try to find a position in any national accounting firm or Big4. If I stand no chance by then, I will go back with no hesitation.

在德州一小型华人会计事务所，已办H1B, 干了一年多了，每天加班如狗，税季没有休息，一天12小时，工资还是3万5，税务为主。
无前景，无钱，无美好生活。
另外，尝试换工作，但又被深深的打击了，感受是，小公司10年工作经验，大公司连看都不看你一眼，还要求H1B transfer???
闹骚满腹。。。。请见谅！
考虑回国。。。

I am pretty sure you will if you work hard and smart. That's what EY professionals told me.

The starting salary in big 4 at SF is almost the same as what you earn right now.

感谢提醒，估计那个人是小广告 留学中介啥的，目前准备先把AICPA拿下 再做考虑 国内今年就业形势也很严峻啊

楼上你是害人么, 找工作只找到这个还读书, 出来更找不着. 楼主你找不到更好的就接, 攒工作经验比什么都重要, 艰苦两三年你的薪水会翻倍. 别担心.
