里面提到Since a letter in handwriting identified as that of the fourth copyiest mentions a plague that killed many people in Florence in 1148. 这句话到底应该怎么理解呢？
“一封被认为属于第四个作者提到了一场瘟疫，它发生于1148年的Florence，并杀死了许多人。”
如果这样理解的话，就算如正确答案所说：1100sFlorence只有一场瘟疫，也不能说明这片著作写于1148年阿，最多只能证明它写于1148年或以后。
就算加上前面的条件：著作由四个人写成，说明写作过程很大程度上被打扰了，也不能说就是因为一场瘟疫啊。

这题很难懂，但是多读几遍之后我们会产生这样的一个线索：之所以这个抄本由不同的人完成，很可能是一场重要的变故导致的。这场变故是什么呢？文章下面说了，是一场瘟疫。那么可能是这场瘟疫杀死了前三个抄写员，只剩最后一人活下来。注意这里有一个可能。
还有注意produce并不一定有“完成”的意思，它只是指在这个期间被制造，那么这部作品也可能是在非1148年的年份完成的。
不过话说回来，这个D选项也有一个假设，就是这些人不会活在1100s以外的世纪……

我觉得这道题干每一个词都传达一中似是而非联系，并不是很绝对，其实在题中就说“虽然没有明确的截稿日期，但有一条线索（clues) ,既然是线索，就尽量扩大1148年是截稿日期的可能
