请问GSU, GT, Emory 哪个学校的FINANCE PHD program更好？

想了解一下在atlanta,哪个学校的FINANCE PHD program比较好，是GSU？ GT？还是Emory？谢谢

gt是大理工校, emory是文科校, 学商科当然去emory了.

GT和另外2个不是一个档次，emory就 so so，GSU偶尔冒冒，还是选emory吧，概率大些

不知道lz情况，但是看了那么多看低gsu的，gsu的本科的确什么都不是，但是商学和法学的grad school还可以，但是除去精算专业的master 完全和gt, emory不是一个档次 包括fin phd. 很多人觉得emory好，不知道了解不了解这个学校整体，学校排名很高这是事实，不过学校很小个人觉得和rice 比较像，从整体来说很贵，不过也不是那么好，在atlanta本地是比较有名的白人贵族学校。不过综合学生质量和gt还不是一个档次，可能是身边人的印象，有点人傻钱多的感觉。他们的mba和医学院很不错，尤其是医学院在美国是一级棒的。金融phd在emory是一个新项目貌似。说说gt吧，在tech school的mgt 一般确实很不受重视，但是我觉得这个是不能看学校big name的老师，要看现在还active的老师, gt的eun 曾经也很牛，但是现在也处于养老阶段，反倒是wang qinghai, chava几个associate 比较好。而且更年轻的还有big O这种。我觉得你要是问atlanten 10个人会有7个说gt最好，3个emory，gsu在atlanta真的是黑哥们超级多，专升本的学校。不过他们的少量几个项目全国都是一流的。

Emory has big names in Asset pricing and has a lot of reputation in finance. If you get an offer from Emory, you should definitely choose it over other two programs.

But GSU has a rising finance department and their PhD program is very solid. They have putted a lot of resources in PhD students and placed their students

very well compared to same level programs.

The faculty there care about PhD students very much, which is fundamentally important. Personally, I look good for GSU's program: it will become better in next 5 years. If you have offers from GSU and other comparable programs, I would suggest GSU. You can choose either empirical asset pricing or corporate finance there. Also, Atlanta is a nice place to live.
