一个人说：富人们应该多捐款，用来应对social ill 之类的。反正富人有钱，捐点钱又不会降低他们的生活水准。
另一人表示反对，说：但是富人们不全是把钱花了的，常常是用来invest的。Moreover, 富人作的invest将来10年、20年后得到的回报，也许会是现在的两倍(twice as much as today)呢。
问：哪个选项weaken第二个人的话
选项：
1。说几十年后也许social ill也变成现在的两倍了呢。
2。说被用作投资了的、那些将来能变成两倍的那些钱，不见得今天就会被捐出去。（lz考试时选的是2。很不确定。请大家相信自己的判断。）
3。投资回报率不一定有那么高

为啥不选3呢？我咋觉得3最直接的削弱了结论呢？求NN分析！

我觉得答案应该是2，第二个人提出的理由是：富人作的invest将来10年、20年后得到的回报，也许会是现在的两倍，削弱应该是削弱从条件到结论的推理过程，3是说不会有这么高的回报率，直接攻击条件，而不是削弱推理过程了，至于1.。。说的是social ill和第二个人讲话内容无关，要是硬要说我觉得顶多是对第一个人的加强，题目是问的对第二个人的削弱，请注意啊。其实很多选项想想都有道理的，但是还是要揣测出题人想考你的点，遇到好多类似题了，应该是这个思路

不过我觉得要看题目中第二个人具体怎么说的，
如果感觉他是在强调，将来投资收益可以资助更多social ill时，那么此时选1合适；
如果他单纯强调20年后富人钱会变多，这个时候就3合适。

the central idea about this argument is whether the wealthier should donate their money, and the opposed evidence is that the wealthier need the money for future investment.

as for the 1st: the money is donated to deal with the ill, we cannot argue that since 20 year later, there will be more ill, so the money should be preserved until that time.

3rd : irrelevant

2nd:  if the  money that the wealthier will donate is not the money that will be invested in future, we can conclude that  donating this money to deal with the social ill will not affect the investment in future.

The question is about weakening of the second person's statement. Which presents a confliction whether the money to be invested( which should be donated today to solve social illness) should be donated.

in order to weaken " the money should be donated", I personally consider 3....

option 2 seems to support that the money should be invested.....
