I believe that it is an idiomatic problem. As u can see; differences - is plural. However little of significant indicates that it is singular. So E is obviously wrong.

主句结构齐全，generalization后跟that引导的定语从句，DE中选，little of 繁琐，直接little difference， E啰嗦，故杀之，选另一个，不过that that是挺少见的。。。一般都是干掉的。。。

there be句型不能直接加抽象名词，difference 是抽象名词，所以必错
