楼主看清题目就知道了  问的是 what percent of the total regular price did he save 注意是percent。。。
（1）很明显能解出  就不解释了
（2）只是说正常价格是多少钱 并没说之后第二half-gallon cartons 的价格是多少 所以不能知道一共便宜多少percent

在每个小项能解出题目时 就不用再看两个together时能不能解了
